We are embracing retirement, and making the most of it.

We knew we were never going to sit still for long, so whilst we are happy and healthy we will be out and about seeing the world………… full time.

Unexpected house-sit Palmwoods

We have been fortunate to be able to spend a week at friends whilst getting our plans and cars sorted out. It is finally dawning on us that when we leave the comfort of our friends home that we will truly be Nomadic, as our other base in Finley (Jessima and family) are packing  up and moving back to southern Queensland at Christmas after 6 years in rural NSW. 

After  2 weeks in Brisbane, 4 days partying with friends at Rivershore Resort near Maroochydore, we have been unexpectedly housesitting for said friends....this time 2 horses, 7 chickens and a dog. 

We have delighted in spending time on the mini farm, with views to the Blackall Range mountains, and great daily walks now spring feels like it is here ie. lovely and warm. We have had Derek’s birthday too. It’s been great fun.
